What is a
Home Organizer?
A Home organizer is a professional who helps individuals or families organize and declutter their living spaces.
They can assist you with everything from closet to kitchen organization, kid(s) bedroom to paper management including digital decluttering.
Why hire a
Home Organizer?
There are many reasons to hire a professional to help you organize your home and life. Maybe you work a lot and can't dedicate the mental space, maybe you're just overwhelmed and don't know where to start, maybe a new family member joined and you have less time to focus into getting your home organized. I can help you with all of that.
How does a
session work?
I first start with a (free of charge) consultation call or meeting where we determine your specific needs. Based on it, we will assess your needs and goals, create a plan for organizing your space and carry out the work sessions which can include triaging, tidying, cleaning, organizing living areas, and time management optmization.
Do I have to get rid of my things?
We will work together to determine what items you should keep, donate or discard. However, you are the one making the final call on which item you keep in your home.
I can share my advises and share my view in more detail during our session(s).
How to be sure hiring a home organizer is the solution for me?
If you feel overwhelmed by your housekeeping tasks, and feel like you just can't get it done, if you struggle finding the things you own when you need them, or if you simply want to improve the way things run in your household, a home organizer might be the right solution for you.
How to maintain success once the sessions are done?
It all relies on your continued engagement to follow the tips & tricks received during the sessions. When our work is done, you'll know that you'll have been left with the perfect foundations to easily keep good habits running and avoid falling back into the old ways. Having a strong, simple to follow system is the best chance you can give yourself of making it work!
How long will it take to organize my home?
Exactly how long an organization project might take depends on many factors, notably the size and current state of the house, how much clutter needs to be sorted, and the complexity of the desired organization system. I can help determine an estimation during the orientation call.
Do I need to be present during the sessions?
I strongly recommend that you remain present in order to receive all the instructions and comments for a continued success of your new organization system. However in certain circumstances it's possible for me to carry out part or some of the tasks independently.
What if I have limited
budget?
I can work with you to create a plan that will fit in your budget. There are many cost-effective ways to organize your home, such as spliting the work between you and me, using storage solutions that you already have.
